Laborer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Laborer's role is crucial to the success of each Tectonic project. They will assist the Carpentry team with errands and job site cleanliness so that the whole team can perform efficiently and effectively. 

The pay range for a Laborer is $20 - $26.50 per hour, commensurate with experience. Directly reports to Superintendent 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• With direction from Production managers, assist the Field Team with any of the following tasks (including but not limited to): 
• Project errands 
• Cleaning job site debris and maintaining a clean work area 
• Tool maintenance 
• Unloading and organizing materials and equipment 
• Operating the dump trailer 
• Demolition/deconstruction 
• General carpentry work directed by the carpentry team 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrate safe working habits and knowledge of safety rules and instructions while performing job functions 
• Follow direction of supervisors, while also thinking critically and independently about jobsite needs (i.e., cleaning up when not asked; noting low inventory; re-measuring; etc.) 
• Clear communication with team members
