They have a comprehensive carpentry skill set necessary to execute a project from start to finish while mentoring those still growing in these skills and serving as a thought partner to the Lead Carpenter. They level up the quality of work that the Tectonic team is able to accomplish. As a small and growing company, we are often building the plane as we fly it. Our ideal candidate is:&nbsp;<ul><li>Highly organized&nbsp;</li><li>Detail-oriented</li><li>Motivated</li><li>Autonomous</li><li>Proactive</li><li>Systems-Thinker</li><li>Problem-Solver</li><li>Strong Communicator</li><li>Introspective</li><li>Collaborative</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Execute interior and exterior carpentry from framing to finish, including but not limited to: Demolition, framing, installing windows &amp; doors, installing wood and cement-based exterior siding and trim, installing flooring and interior trim packages, including interior doors, baseboards, casing, crown molding, closet packages, etc., installing cabinetry packages, including kitchen, bathrooms, and custom built-ins.</li><li>Read blueprints</li><li>Work in conjunction with the Lead Carpenter in assessing job site needs, developing an execution strategy, as well as troubleshooting issues that arise</li><li>Mentor Apprentice(s) and Carpenter Level 1(s) on skill development</li><li>Ensure work meets the Tectonic Standard of Quality&nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+&nbsp;years of relevant experience, including diverse skill sets in remodeling and new home residential construction.</li><li>Proficiency in the above-mentioned carpentry techniques, methods of installation, and construction systems.</li><li>Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools such as a table saw, miter saw, track saw, planer, and router.</li><li>Demonstrate safe working habits and knowledge of safety rules and instructions while performing job functions.</li><li>Follow the direction of supervisors, while also thinking critically and independently about job site needs (i.e., cleaning up when not asked; noting low inventory; re-measuring; etc.).</li><li>Advanced construction math competency.</li><li>Meticulous and methodical approach to production.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Technologically literate, including but not limited to:&nbsp;</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Familiarity with Google Suite: Gmail, Cal, Drive, Docs, Chat</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Familiarity with BuilderTrend</li></ul>Salary and Benefits<ul><li>Full time&nbsp;</li><li>Salary at $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.</li><li>PTO</li><li>Credit Card</li><li>Gas Allowance</li><li>Phone Allowance Stipend</li></ul>
